The interest in using expert-guided implementation (EGI) steadily continued to grow peaking in 2013 with more than 4,600 participants. With new EGIs for dedicated SAP Mobile and SAP HANA topics, as well as localized versions of popular sessions, the EGI portfolio becomes even more relevant for your business.

For SAP Mobile the offering has been augmented to allow you to quickly harness the benefits of SAP Fiori ‒ a collection of apps that represents the new SAP user experience paradigm. SAP Fiori offers various business roles a simple, easy-to-use experience for SAP software functions, and works seamlessly on desktop, tablet, or smartphone. The SAP Fiori apps focus on the most critical and common activities and are designed around how people work. The goal of the corresponding SAP Fiori EGI session is to enable you with the knowledge to install, configure, and customize your SAP Fiori apps in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner. The session includes hands on demonstrations to help install and configure SAP Fiori apps in your landscape.

Included in the SAP HANA EGI series there’s been a lot of interest in the EGI SAP HANA – Make your Custom Code Ready. In a migration project to SAP HANA, DB accesses in custom code may have to be adapted to leverage the performance capabilities of SAP HANA. In addition, it is strongly recommended to review the coding for functional correctness before the migration. Within this EGI an expert will give you the basic knowledge how to perform a code check review, how to evaluate the usage or coverage of an object and how to find and improve DB accesses which have optimization potential for running on the SAP HANA in memory environment. The goal of this EGI is to get a work package of own custom code to be optimized. SQL performance guidelines are given and checks for functional correctness are presented.

There’s also a great new offering for Chinese customers: two popular EGIs have been localized to Chinese language. Check the schedule and register now for Basic Configuration of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 and Technical Upgrade to SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
