Tune in to #SAPRadio March 25th – Early Talent: What Millennials Really Want from the Future Workplace
They’re here! Millennials, aka Gen Y, are the post-Gen X demographic born between the early 1980s–2000s. Diverse, well-educated, highly expressive, they’ve already made a unique mark on commerce, work, and social media. We’ve been told that their mindset and outlook on life and work are different from other generations’. Myth or truth? What do these newcomers really want, expect, and need in their careers today and in the future? The experts – Millennials themselves – speak.
Tune in, Tuesday, March 25th at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT for a new HR Trends with Game-Changers roundtable discussion on “Early Talent: What Millennials Really Want from the Future Workplace.” Our panelists will include: Lindsey Nelson, SAP Global Marketing, Portfolio Marketing; Thibaud De Keyzer, SAP Innovations; and Erwil Heath, SAP Business Operation Principal for Southern Africa.
A peek at what the conversation will cover:
Lindsey Nelson gives her personal opinion on the word Millennial: “I personally despise the word Millennial…We are constantly and consistently stereotyped and often not provided the opportunity to voice our individual inputs. Some would be shocked to see how different all of our wants and needs are.”
According to Thibaud De Keyzer, technology is like air to millennials and to call Gen Y “Net Gen’ers.”
Erwil Heath sees Gen Y as having a different mindset and outlook on life and work in general. He feels they are extremely excited about the future and eat, sleep and repeat social simplification.
If you are unable to tune in live, the show will be available on demand soon after for your listening convenience. We welcome your thoughts about the topic via twitter at hash tag #SAPRadio.
