As many of you remember, Gartner predicted back in 2012 that by 2017 the CMO will spend more on IT than the CIO.  The findings pointed out that marketing was purchasing significant marketing-related technology and services from their own capital and expense budget.

Today SAP and Adobe announced a global reseller agreement targeted at digital marketing and omni-channel commerce for enterprise customers.

The combination of Adobe Marketing Cloud with the SAP HANA platform and the hybris Commerce Suit sends signals to the market that SAP once again makes a bold move on the enterprise software market.  To be continued…
