Interesting backgrounder on HANA
Last night, I watched the openSAP course, An Introduction to SAP HANA by Dr. Vishal Sikka. I already know quite a bit about HANA and have taken the certification test, but it was interesting to hear the back story about how HANA came to be and some of the interesting things people are doing with the technology. Sometimes, it’s nice to get your head above the details sometimes and hear the narrative about how things came to be. The most interesting tidbit I learned was what the name HANA means (not exactly what I thought). It was definitely worth the couple of hours spent on it.
