last friday i got a requirement on my table, that there should be different search helps available on customer fields in service lines of a contract. As it was close to friday my thoughts were, that there is no possibility of meeting this requirement without modification the standard.
Today on monday, i came back to work and thought a little and tested some stuff with basic search helps.
Now, on monday afternoon i have a possibility to customizize any search help of any programm and any field in the sap system. i've created one enhancement on the pbo module of the programm that lead into the requirement and one enhancement in the sap standard of calling search helps.
the solution is pretty small (about 150 lines of codes), in the enhancements everything is done by class methods so just abap oo.
now i'm a little bit proud, that my code is executed with every value request done in the system :smile:
