Service Management – Completion Confirmation – Set List Editing for Confirmations using Operation List

This area of configuration is another sparsely used by myself.  While it has it’s value, presetting the variant for IW48, it is typically more valuable to teach people how to generate their own variant in my my mind,   That being said, I wanted to cover this configuration anyway 🙂

Here is where the configuration can be found in SPRO.

As soon as you enter, you are presented with a choice.  The first option allows us to set a default variant for the transaction.  Here, I’ll show you.

You are now shown transaction IW48.  Press the Attributes to get the standard variant screen.

Here, you can go through all the standard variant options that should be defaulted for all your users.

Once you save, and green arrow back, you can do the Maintain Field Selection list.

For my money, I don’t really know what the difference is between these 2 options.

So that’s it…  another piece of configuration explained…  even if it doesn’t seem like it belongs in configuration.
