SAP’s Mobility Strategy Examined and Explained: An ASUG Webcast March 31 2014

The last time I posted something concerning Mobility I had a large amount of views. Thus I have been looking out for topics on mobility that I though might be interesting.

As we know, a lot of companies are interested in mobile applications and are looking at mobility to increase operational effectiveness. Enabling the mobile worker is a large thrust for most companies. And  SAP is committed to provide applications On Premise, On Demand, and On Device.

Mobilizing business processes is a huge imperative in in a lot of companies and an ASUG survey indicated that our customers would benefit from additional information regarding SAP’s product roadmaps, costs, and customer implementations in order to complete successful rollouts.

With that in mind , I thought that I would point out this webcast, hosted by ASUG, examining SAP’s mobility strategy

The speakers are:

  1. Courtney Bjorlin, Director,  Content Strategy, ASUG
  2. Rick Costanzo, Executive  Vice President and General Manager of Mobility Solutions, SAP
  3. William Clark, Global Vice President Mobile  Strategy & Solutions, SAP

You will need to be an ASUG member and logged into the ASUG web site in order to register for this webcast.

Please use this link to for further information & to register for the web cast:  Register

By the way do you take advantage of the webcasts put on by the various user groups?

As a side note, I have been posting topics that interest me, and I hope interest you for some time now and I am wondering if they are of value to people. If you are finding value about what I post, could you please remember to “follow” me.

      Hi

The web cast is so popular that the web cast has reached its registration capacity (no more room at the inn). However the session is being recorded and the recording and the slides  will be available in the ASUG web site for ASUG members.

Although the organization is for the Americas, since 2007 ASUG also offers international memberships so any licensed SAP customer company can join ASUG. If your company is a member of ASUG, any employee can register. Check here for your company http://www.asug.com/membership to see if they are a member and register your self. Or if you want you can use the same link to register your company.

Generally ASUG web casts are posted on the ASUG site and remain under the control of ASUG. They are not normally posted to a wider community.  I would suggest that you approach your local SAP User Group and request a similar web cast or see if they can approach ASUG to establish a joint relationship

      Regards

      John
