During CeBIT - the world's largest IT fair that was held March 10 - 14 in Hanover, Germany - the official signing ceremony of the corporate partnership agreement between SAP and the Association for Information Systems (AIS) took place.
AIS is the premier professional association for individuals and organizatons who lead the research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems worldwide. Hence, it comprises of leading professors and academia from the information systems discipline from all around the world
SAP has been a long standing partner of AIS and now renewed its partnership for 2014 during SAP's Influencer Dinner on Monday, March 10 in the Alte Rathaus in Hanover, Germany.

The efficient and effective use of human capital is a crucial competitive factor in today's world. Therefore, SAP heavily invests in educational programs to foster and promote education and research and to encourage the next generation to come up with creative ideas and disruptive research topics. The Association for Information Systems is a key partner for SAP in order to reach out to the millennial generation and shape the educational system. By collaborating closely with the academia and engaging early on with the students in co-innovation projects the gap between research and industry can be bridged and the young generation will be well-prepared for today's competitive job market.
