Changed in 1402: New Business Object ‘Activity’ Replaces ‘Appointment’, ‘Email’, ‘Phone Call’, and ‘Task’ Business Objects (SAP Cloud for Customer Only)
Change in version 1402 of the SAP Cloud Applications Studio for SAP Cloud for Customer
To improve performance, the following business objects (located in namespace http://sap.com/xi/AP/FO/Activity/Global) are no longer available for SAP Cloud for Customer 1402 and have been replaced by the new business object Activity:
- Activity Task
- Appointment Activity
- Email Activity
- Phone Call Activity
The new business object Activity is located in the namespace http://sap.com/xi/AP/PC/ActivityManagement/Global.
To distinguish between the former business object types in the new Activity business object, you need to use the following type codes:

What you need to do
With studio version 1405, the old business objects cannot be accessed anymore. Instead, you have to use the new Activity business object.
