This is really a trivial point from a technical view and I'm almost ashamed of writing it here , but ut seems quite a few customers have missed this, so I thought I still write it as a heads-up:

We just found that some customers were surprised that the Pension Auto Entrolment process didn't trigger the retro-active calculations they would have expected through infotype 3297. This is usually due to missing manual work after putting in SAP note 1827202 or the respective Support Package.

SAP note 1827202 is quite old already (February 2013) and therefore should already be applied in all SAP systems, where UK payroll is used. However, the changes provided are client dependent configuration tables and for the chages to become effective in your system, you need to copy them from client 000 through the normal table adjustment.

You may also want for additional fields to trigger retro-calculations as suggested in the note, which you can add in the config tables yourself.

The two table changes are:

1) V_T581a:

Make infotype 3297 a field dependent trigger for retro-calculations:

2) V_T588g:

Define the fields to trigger retros:

That's it. Quick and sweet
