What’s Happening in SAP Product Support – February 2014 edition
In case you missed our first blog in the series, you can catch up here: What’s Happening in SAP Product Support – January 2014 edition.
February is the shortest month of the year, but we packed it full of great educational sessions delivered by some of our finest in SAP Product Support. If you didn’t get a chance to partake in these sessions, we have added the links to the replays (where applicable).
As always, comments, feedback, and suggestions are welcome! Please add a comment below or connect with us socially on Twitter @SAPSupportCE and @SAP_gsupport as well as on Facebook.
Let’s begin our February recap!
Enterprise Support Academy Meet the Expert Sessions
Jeff Albion presented a session on LDAP User Authentication in SQL Anywhere 16. The focus of the session was to showcase and demonstrate how the new LDAP features work in SQL Anywhere 16 as well as how to configure a SQL Anywhere server and MobiLink server to work with LDAP servers.
A replay of the session is available here.
Arvin Chiu presented a session on the SAP Automated Notes Search Tool. This has become a very popular topic amongst many of our customers, as the Automated Notes Search Tool (or ANST) helps save time in solving issues. This session focused on how you can use the tool to quickly identify correction notes to fix system errors/bugs. Definitely a hot topic in SCN as well! What is ANST….and why aren’t you using it?
Replays of ANST sessions are available here.
ASUG Chapter Meetings
Hotlanta Georgia (well it wasn’t so hot in Atlanta at the time of the meeting) is our first stop.
Our own Christopher Vozella joined Gabriel Orthous, Noel Hollis, Kim Seijo, and Jonathan Haun on an amazing panel discussing the important aspects of migrating to SAP BI4. Looked like it was a packed house from the webcast!

We head across the states to the Pacific NW chapter meeting which was held in Lynnwood, Washington.

Our Twitter handle @SAPSupportCE received a lot of positive feedback on their presentations. We’ve added some of the tweets below.
