SAP HANA Cloud Platform: Installing SAP HANA Client
Jamie Wiseman from the SAP HANA Academy details how to create an XS application that is activated on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform by first demonstrating how to install a SAP HANA Client. Jamie is using a free developer license for SAP HANA Cloud Platform. Please follow these instructions to get your own free license.
First, Jamie goes to hana.ondemand.com in a browser and selects tools in the top toolbar. Next, Jamie chooses SAP HANA Studio in the home tab and then selects the appropriate SAP HANA Client developer edition for the environment.
Once the file is downloaded the contents should be extracted to the download folder. Then the SAP HANA Client install wizard should be run to complete the installation.
