At the HR2014 conference, I am doing a session on Successfactors Recruiting, where I will share tips that you can follow for implementing Successfactors Recruiting.

I am very excited about Successfactors Recruiting and I advise my clients to consider implementing SF Recruiting along with Recruiting Marketing and Onboarding solutions. This stack (Recruiting, Recruiting Marketing and Onboarding) provides a very complete solution for talent acquisition and candidate onboarding business processes.

When you publish a job posting in Successfactors Recruiting, you can elect to publish the posting in a microsite as well. For example, in your organization, you can have microsites targeted to specific candidate population such as new graduates, young professionals, etc. If I am a new graduate looking for a job, and you have a job opening for new grads, you can post this job opening in the careers webpage as well in the microsite for new graduates. Targeted candidate population tend to search for jobs posted in the microsites compared to searching for a specific job in the careers webpage.

Candidate marketing is a growing recruiting practice. Recruiting Marketing is a great application to fully support the candidate marketing business process. Candidates can register to the talent community using Recruiting Marketing.  Recruiting marketing supports functionalities such as social matcher, social apply as well.

When you develop relationships with your candidates, the cost-to-hire and time-to-hire is significantly reduced.

Currently, the Onboarding tool from Successfactors can only be implemented by Successfactors Professional Services themselves. It is expected that alliance partners can start implementing Onboarding sometime this year.

An interesting advantage of the Recruiting Marketing and Onboarding applications are that they can be used along with any 3rd party Recruiting / ATS solutions.

During my session Tips for Implementing, Integrating and Utilizing Successfactors Recruiting functionality” next week at HR2014, we will discuss these topics, as well best practices, project experiences and tips that you can follow in your implementations.

The session is on Mar 13th 2014, from 8.30 am –9.45 am in Australia 3. Look forward to seeing you next week at HR2014.
