Since our last course in 2013 we have been defining new topics, identifying the best content experts and creating courses which will continue to satisfy your SAP knowledge appetite. In 2014, we will be expanding our portfolio into business topics as well as growing our development courses even further.

We are working on a variety of new SAP HANA courses such as SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA as you can see below. In addition to new SAP HANA courses, we will also repeat some of our 2013 courses such as Introduction to SAP HANA Cloud Platform along with advanced courses on SAP HANA Cloud Platform. Here’s a sneak preview of just some of the courses we are planning:

SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA

The SAP Business Suite represents a set of applications such as SAP ERP, SAP CRM, SAP SCM and SAP SRM that enable an enterprise to run its core business operations. These applications provide end-to-end process support for customer engagement, finance, human resources, manufacturing, procurement, logistics …and IT management. The SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA is the best example of our most recent innovation showing how SAP can uniquely enable technology convergence for delivering business and IT value to customers. SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA brings together transactions and analytics into a single in-memory platform allowing our customers to now drive their entire business in real time and create new value for IT, business and people. In this course, we’ll learn what the values are with SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA, what the impact is for Lines of Business and Industries and where to start to realize value.

Sustainability and Business Innovation (Peter Graf, Chief Sustainability Officer at SAP)

This course is for all students and professionals alike! Companies around the world implement sustainable strategies - to create competitive advantage, reduce risk and cost, attract the best talent, and to remain relevant to investors. But what does “sustainability” mean in a business context exactly? How are sustainable strategies crafted and how can they innovate the business? How are they put into action? And finally, what is the role of information technology in all of this? During the course, SAP shares how the most advanced sustainability leaders have tackled these questions. The objective of the class is to help
attendees articulate a sustainable strategy, sell its business case internally, embed sustainable principles in an organization, and to leverage IT to grow
sustainably.

In addition to an extended course portfolio, we are also finalizing a new openSAP mobile app. Just when you thought that openSAP was as flexible as it could get, you will be able to download videos for offline viewing and once your iPad reconnects to the internet, the app will synch with the openSAP platform and update your progress. So you will be able to continue your learning with SAP anytime and anywhere without an internet connection!

Did you know we won the “Innovation in Learning” Bronze Award 2014 at the Learning Awards in February? The next course you take will be with the award-winning openSAP!

Don’t forget you can follow us on Twitter @openSAP or find us on Facebook to keep up to date with openSAP.

We look forward to welcoming you to a new openSAP course in the near future!

With kind regards,

Your openSAP team
