communication between SAP and .net RFC connector

Hi,

I’m beginner in SAP side, i came to know SAP .net connector 3.0 is required to communicate the .net application to SAP. is this connector is enough tocomplete this data transper between SAP to .net and .net to SAP.

Do we need the RFC server separatly to make this communication?

would it possible please share the sample C# method with input (SAP to .net) & out(.net to SAP) parameters examples.

Also what are hardware support/software support is required for this SAP communication and what are the basis needs to communite with SAP.
