Teched Online: Virtual Hands-On

Just a quick heads-up: If you registered for Teched 2013 (any location), you are eligible for Teched Online. This is an opportunity to catch a large number of lectures and try out hands-on sessions that you missed with real systems set up specifically for the purpose. You need to log in (top right) as a Teched attendee to access this.

Just to remind you, our Teched Session that has been selected:

CD267: “The Best of Both Worlds: SAP GUI and SAP NetWeaver Business Client”

“Migrating from a SAP GUI standalone to SAP NetWeaver Business Client 4.0 for Desktop offers expert users the best of both worlds: the familiarity of SAP GUI transactions in the embedded SAP GUI for Windows plus all UI innovations available with SAP NetWeaver Business Client. In this hands-on session, you will learn how to improve the end user’s experience by enhancing a sample role with new content including side panels, search providers, and a configurable home page. You will discover side panels and configure them including business function activation and you will then configure search providers. You will also create a configurable cockpit using pre-defined Chips. “

This is for administrators who are aware of SAP NetWeaver Business Client and who would like provide end users with some of the advantages – eg of predefined side panel content (“Chips”), or of multiple system access.

Unfortunately, not all live content is selected for the online content; CD268 was not selected.
