      Hi Melinda,

I was just wondering how long SAP will continue to improve both NWBC 3.5 and 4.0? I assume that at some point 3.5 will be in a "maintenance mode" only and customers wanting new features etc... would need to move to 4.0?

Visually they are quite different and perhaps many customers will find the jump from 3.5 to 4.0 to be quite a challenge.

      Thanks,
      Simon

      Hello Simon,

Both 3.5 and 4.0 are in "maintenance mode" already, every new feature/feature request can be developed/asked only in the brand new version.

And yes, that is true that between 3.5 and 4.0 there is a big "design jump" so it really is not easy for Customers, although from next year they have to switch to the new design as the maintenance for 3.5 will end on 31.12.2014.

However I think who uses nowdays ANY type of browser it won't be that bad as the navigation logic is totally browserlike - therefore easy to use.

      Best regards

      Melinda

I got a nice roadmap from our Product Owner:

You can find planned innovations from page 34 🙂

The design will remain the tabbed browsing client.
