After I went through Suseelan Hari blog,  I was slightly inspired to share some known and unknown (sometimes confidential 😉 ) things about me. Its all about my personal and professional success and failure story.

My SCN Experience:

I am a SCN member from 2010, but was passive till December 2013. I was inspired by a moderator in Tech-ed 2013, Bangalore. She told me to contribute more and more to enhance my skill and  knowledge. As well a well medium to leverage and earn relationship. In many instances I have been guided by the mentors and that made me more professional contributor in SCN. I came across a lot of people and received nice suggestions through this community only.

Few words about me and myself:

Basucally hailing from the “Garden City”, Bangalore. My relationship with the enthralling world of SAP has been since seven long years and I look forward to spending more years together 😏 .

My homeland is West Bengal and I come from one of famous historical city of Bengal, Behrampore, famous for it’s Hazarduari (1000 door) fort. I spent my childhood in Asansol and my initial work experiences sparked in Kolkata. I am a December born and a Saggittarian by birth and my wife tells me that it is the cause for me being a mischief maker throughout life. Perhaps, as always, she is right 😉 .

About My Educational Life:

Being a mischievous boy throughout life, I never had much time to study. But somehow by sheer luck or Almighty’s enormous grace I managed to fly through my exams. I started with studying the sparks of electricity and now I am continuing with the keys of the computer. I did my graduation in Electrical engineering from Asansol ngineering Collage, West Bengal, pursued MBA in Marketing and Systems from IISWBM, University of Calcutta. Post my MBA i worked in Videocons and then in Exide Industried Ltd. That is where I was enthused with the nitty gritties of ERP and SAP. That triggered me to do a formal certification in SAP and finally I bagged an SAP PP certificate to my utmost pleasure. Recently I completed two more certification , viz.; SAP-BPM and ITIL Since then my professional life has revolved around the intricacies of SAP.

My Interests:

I love being with my family. On 17th September, 2013, Almighty blessed our life with an angelic baby boy, RISHAAN. Most of my free time is spent in watching him grow, playing with him and capturing his countless moments in my camera.

Other than that I love to listen to songs. I believe music  is the most powerful medium that soothes your body and soul. I am particularly fond of melodious music with meaningful lyrics. My favorite singer of recent times is Monali Thakur and I love the song “Saawar Loon” sung by her.

Whenever I get time I catch up with mainly comedy movies at home like Chupke Chupke.

I am extremely fond of pets, though I am restrained from keeping pets (other than small fishes) at home. So I keep watching Discovery Channel and NGC to nurture my desire 🙁 . I dream of having a big marine aquarium some day in our home.

Psssstttt: I also like to play Temple Run and Subway Surfers, especially when i am stuck up on a boring meeting for the day. 😉

    Hi Das,

    Nice to know you…. 🙂

Read your kid name ‘Rishaan’. I felt very peculiar and done some googling on it 😉

Finally, came to know that Rishaan means

Rishaan is Hindu male given name. Rishaan comes from the Indian word which means, “a good human being.” Rishaan is one of the name of Hindu god “Lord Shiva”. It is a Hindu spiritual name.

Waiting for your and your son pics….. 😀
