Interrupts and Events in a Process chain

This Document will explain only in a very high level on how to use the interrupts and events in a Process chain effectively.

The advantages of using interrupts and events in a Process chain are many. It handles the lookups easily, gives us more flexibility to run many chains in parallel using Meta chains depending on the system size, provides an easy way to monitor and resolve issues and it uses  all standard SAP.

I have below used two process chains one raising the event and the other one capturing the event using interrupt process.  This process chains can be run in two ways. First trigger PC1 this will raise an event. Then trigger PC2 this will capture that event and then allow the DTP to run.

Second way is trigger Pc 2 first then it will wait in the interrupt stage for the event to be raised. Only when the Pc1 is triggered and raised an event then the PC2 continues and load DTP.

Now this is only in a high level. But imagine we have so many Meta chains and so many dependent and non-dependent Process chains and with many lookups. Then this approach can be used very effectively
