Hi,

It may be necessary in PI sheets to create tables so that Users can enter the data multiple times.....This document gives the how to configure the same and make the relevant settings for the same....

In the process instruction category for the characteristic PPPI_DATA_REQUEST_TYPE normally value will be Simple Data Request

Now when we execute in PI sheet it will look like this without a table

Change this to Repeated Data Request....

Now when we execute in PI sheet it will look like this with a table

Now by clicking on the button use can add one more row to the table as shown below....

User can add number of rows for this..to restrict this add the characteristic PPPI_MAXIMUM_TABLE_SIZE with value 1

Once we make this setting user will not able to add rows to the existing table and the button will not be available as shown...

Some times requirement is to add only 2 rows to existing table. Enter the value 3 to the PPPI_MAXIMUM_TABLE_SIZE as shown below...

Now user can add only two rows to initial row.....

Initial display is as follows...

Now you can add only two rows to the existing initial row by clicking

After adding two rows button will not be there to add more rows.. in this way we can restrict the no of rows.....

Hope this helps for the people who are working on PI sheets...

Thanks

Kumar
