Incidentally today is my 11th year in SAP. I remember vaguely SAP in early 2000 when i came to SAP which was then located in ITPL, Whitefield for a training on Solaris.
Today from a System Administrator in 2003, to a quality engineer and i have progressed to a more impacting role as the Area Product Owner for SAP Lumira handling Data Connectivities across the different BI infrastructure.
What as an employee of SAP that I could tell my friends apart from the standard things like a technology driven organization or an organization which has a strong employee focus and diversity, is the heart of the organization value, we impact people's life.
Many of my friends work in other technological giants which we use on our day to day life like search or maps or mobile, I truly feel excited that we touch everyone's life in different ways that people are not aware off.

For me there are three things that i can say that gets me to office everyday
(1) SAP is a great place to work, belive me you have to experience it to get this emotion. We have great managers,leaders, great food, latest gadgets, amazing perks & allowances, a car lease policy that no one can match, a health & insurance cover that makes you feel @ peace and most importantly an ocean of oppurtunities that can take you where you want. you are no more an Alice in Wonderland.
(2) SAP is a great technology company, from the classic R3 to the latest & greatest in In-Memory Platform with SAP HANA, SAP has always grown by the value we provide to our customers with technological innovations. We, employees receive great encourgaement, tranings, support for enabling us (people like me) to create innovations that change the way people experience technology
(3) SAP's mission "Helping the world run better". SAP is at the center of today’s technology revolution, developing innovations that not only help businesses run like never before, but also improve the lives of people everywhere.
