This morning I was prompted to update my Lumira Desktop to 1.15 – which is very very nice, and saves the trouble of going to Service Marketplace.
I set this up in my File->Preferences under Auto updates:
For in-depth details on what is new in 1.15, go to What’s new in SAP Lumira Desktop 1.15
Also new, attributes are now dimensions – see arrows below:
But for pure exploring with data, I am enjoying Winter Olympic Insights with Lumira Cloud – it is like a trip down memory lane, looking at one of my favorite events, Ice Dancing, new to the Winter Olympics in 1976.
I can search by favorite ice dancers Torvill-Dean from Great Britain – I forgot they won two medals:
Which Olympics did they win? See below for the answer:
If you don’t know Torvill-Dean see below – I was very fortunate to see them skate in person when they came to America on a tour with the Russian All-Stars.
This was their gold medal performance. I am looking forward to the Olympics again.
Tammy!
I never knew that you enjoyed watching Ice Skating!??!?!
I’m also disappointed that you didn’t create a storyboard showcasing your favourite team. (with a custom background)
Apart from wanting to see that storyboard, I would want to see a 6-second tribute from you to them. Hopefully it will go viral, and you’ll get a personal message!!!
Sorry, got slightly out of hand up there.
SP15 – Attributes are now Dimensions!
I think you should do the storyboard – the data is publicly available.
Awesome picture!!
Keeping it simple:
The top are the Top 10 Medal Winners by Country from the last 3 Winter Olympics
Bottom, same as Tammy 😉
