Define Number Ranges in GRC

Use

In this Customizing activity, you enter the following details for the objects used in Risk Management and for setting up the internal controls for Process Control:

• Type of number issued (internal or external)

• Number interval

Since the Organizational Management (BC-BMT-OM) is used to set up the structure of the internal controls, you must establish the settings for issuing the numbers in the Organizational Management table.

Note: You only define separate number ranges if a separate number range is used for individual objects or each object.

To create separate number ranges for objects, you must use plan variant 01.

Standard settings

By default, the number range  01$$ is provided.
