BI 2014 is next month in Orlando, co-located with HANA 2014.   I noticed that SAP's Steve Lucas, President of Platform Solutions Group, is the keynote speaker for both events.

I wanted to use Data Services Text Data Processing to analyze the speaker list and sessions, but I couldn't remember the exact steps for text data processing.  Following tom.cenens blog Getting access & accessing SAP Learning Hub #SAPEducation I obtained access.  Similar to Tom, I am a "member of the Certification Engangement & Influence Council, I have received full access from SAP."

I accessed the BODS15 Data Services Course to walk me through the Text Data Processing Entity Extraction transform.

Then I logged on to Data Services and created the batch job using a text file of speakers and sessions (subject to change of course).

I took the output file from Data Services and used that as a data source to SAP BusinessObjects Lumira

I then launched Lumira and used the output from Data Services as a data source.

What is the top organization (an entity in Data Services) mentioned?  No surprise, it is SAP as this is an "SAP" Insider event, in collaboration with SAP.

Which speaker gets the most mentions?

It is SAP's ingo.hilgefort and Dr. Berg. Ingo will be covering the Analysis Suite, Design Studio and hands-on sessions.

SAP's john.krakowski is mentioned as the event is co-located with Admin 2014.

Also, a drumroll for the top product mentioned - no surprise, it is SAP HANA and In-Memory Computing.

BI4.1, BPC, SAP ERP are also top mentions in the session titles.  Also up there is SAP Business Warehouse

It should be a great event - both BI 2014 and HANA 2014 next month.
