SAP to share insights with leading Analysts on industry trends, and to lay out the vision for 21st century education solutions

SAP is hosting an Analyst Strategy Week in the Palo Alto, CA office from February 2-6, 2014 – leading analysts including Gartner, IDC, Forrester, and Ovum will be in attefdnance, as will leading niche industry solution analysts in Public Sector, Higher Education and Research, and Healthcare.  Cooperative briefings are planned, whereby the analysts will discuss industry trends and developments with the SAP leadership, while looking to SAP on software and services developments that will help drive the industry.


Within the Public Services cluster, and as part of the Strategic Industries for SAP, Higher Education and Research represents a significant focal point for SAP growth in 2014.


SAP Higher Education and Research Industry Business Solutions will be represented by Global VP Malcolm Woodfield, who will provide analysts with the SAP vision for the industry, and how SAP has adapted for the changing nature of Education institutions.  Higher Education and Research has moved beyond
physical buildings due to mobile applications, e-learning technologies, and collaborative research environments. But, regardless of the physical or virtual
location, today’s universities and research institutions face tight budgets and fierce competition. SAP remains the trusted partner for successful outcomes, empowering institutions to:
