There are cases in Hana Optimized DSO's, where ZERO records been pulled from Source DSO to Target DSO.

Reason, we'll find ZERO records in Changelog table of source DSO though there are actually requests available in DSO's.

We'll face the following errors in Hana optimized DSO at the time of data transferring from source to target:

"column store error: search table error: [41028] DataStoreObject: Query

is

not supported for the changelog.;Unsupported query on changelog".

Hence, if you check in Hana studio, you'll find it's table as a normal table.  We'll have to recreate changelog view here.

Go to SE38 in your BW system and run report RSDU_RECREATE_CHGLG_HDB(Program comes as a part of note: SAP Note: 1816581)

(Refer following SAP Notes:

0001817381
Enhancement of the report RSDU_RECREATE_CHGLG_HDB

0001846967   Change
log of SAP HANA-optimized DSO is inconsistent

the correction is now available. Please implement Note
1897595)

Recreate changelog as shown below by mentioning it's DSO name in ODSOBJECT:

The above issue would be overcome if we convert Hana optimized DSO's to Standard Optimized DSO(Classical DSO)

If any of you have faced such problems, please follow above steps and implement the same 🙂

Will explain converting IMO Dso's to standard DSO's in a separate document.

The same conversion of Hana optimized DSO to standard optimized DSO can be done by referring document: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-51375

Regards,

Antony Jerald.
