Replays of some of the sessions from TechEd 2013 are available online, including this session that I presented. This one hour session is a great starting point for someone interested in how to set up ESP projects and define the "continuous queries" and associated dataflows that are used to turn raw event streams into actionable insight. It starts by introducing the structure of an ESP project and key concepts, and then walks through each of the basic building blocks and operators. It also includes a demonstration of the basic steps in configuring these operators using the visual editor of the ESP Studio.
