Following up from Checking out Features from Analysis Office to Design Studio I decided to experiment some more with the features in Analysis Office (1.4) and how they look in SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio

Effective Filters

See example below in Analysis Office:

I have an effective filter, only selecting a few projects/members

I select the Create Web Application to send it to Design Studio:

Notice that Design Studio also accepts the effective filters from Analysis Office.

This is how it looks at run time:

Multiple Worksheets

Then I try a workbook with two sheets in Analysis Office – what happens in Design Studio?

See below:

Design Studio takes the worksheet names from Analysis Office and turns them into Tab Strips:

So for some fast prototyping in Design Studio I recommend starting with Analysis Office, depending on your use case.
