Hi,

Live Office is one of the connectivity techniques for SAP Dashboards(Xcelsius) with your data. Many times when we use a large number of Live Office Connections in our Dashboard then refreshing all the objects in it give us Time Out error. This can be resolved.

Versions of Software Used:

SAP BO Dashboards 4.0 – Version 6.0.5.0 , Build – 14,0,6,1036

SAP Live Office XI 4.0 – Version 14.0.4.738, Build – 738

Prerequisites:

1. Administrator access or appropriate permissions to access the Registry.

2. Perform this operation on the system where SAP Dashboards has been installed and from where user will preview or export the Dashboard.

Steps to resolve the issue:

Thanks! this definitely helps with large reports opening in LO.

Default 600 sec (10 min) was not enough for our report where it takes couple of minutes for just Prompts to come up
