Temperature statistics across major cities for year 2013
Hi All ,
It been quite some time I have downloaded free trial of SAP Lumira. But never find time to work with it. But today I am luck that I got a chance to have a hands on with it as no much load on me. Thank god !! Its all because of Christmas celebrations!! Wish you all a Merry Christmas 🙂 !! and a very very happy new year 2014 well in advance 😉 !!
In this blog, I want to share my experience with SAP Lumira & how I made it to project the data in to a visual representation !! And believe me !! It`s very simple and playful. I always have this impression that instead of just giving the statistics in a table with some values which are really not interesting to go through 😛 ( think of large volume of data !!), presenting the data with a visual approach is always more appealing and of course you ll get good scores too 😉 .
I have collected the temperatures of different cities in India for the year 2012, month wise and below is my data.

In the above the data for city Delhi is missing. From the above table, I have derived the maximum and minimum temperatures for the year 2013 city wise. This is as below.
City | Min | Max |
Delhi | 2 | 40 |
Chennai | 21 | 38 |
Mumbai | 17 | 34 |
Kolkata | 12 | 36 |
Hyderabad | 15 | 39 |
I used SAP Lumira to represent this data as below, simple to understand and more interesting.
Now, let`s make it more interesting. I have taken the max and min temperatures for a city month wise for the year 2012 and want to show how to it can be represented visually in many ways using SAP Lumira.
These are very few representation i have used from trail of SAP Lumira. And it just took 15 min to create these visual representation of my tabular data !! Very interesting, simple.
Now I am planning to use Lumira where ever I need some visual representation of data 😉 !!
