Its the fourth time I was representing Gateway at TechED and what a great transformation, from 1 session to 16 session. From people asking “What Gateway?” to “Gateway run mission critical task!!”.

Dr. Vishal Sikka kicked off TechED Bangalore with a very interesting Keynote (link) talking about the great rivers of our world, its significance and equivalent of rivers in software. For me the icing was the mention of Gateway and 8000 customer installations. How Gateway would change the way people interact to systems, and machines on Premise and on Cloud.

Gateway was all across the show floor with Fiori and the new offerings from Fiori, the first experience of SMP 3.0 at TechED Bangalore and the Augmented Reality pod showcasing the Google glass solution. The Google glass was also running OData.

I talked to Mr Rajesh Agarwal for Maventic, a SAP Partner on his experience with Gateway (YouTube) on the second day of TechED.

The Gateway session were on the second and third day and I can safely say they were always running packed on both days. Apart from Gateway session, Gateway was also in UI5 and other session.

Kudos to all my colleagues who spoke at 2013 TechEd, great job guys….

I would like to make a special mention of my colleagues at the Gateway Pod ,Suparna, Amit and Thejaswi. They practically started before the Keynote on the first day and there was no time without people at our pod understanding Gateway and its offering during TechED.

Finally, my special thank all my Gateway colleague who were working behind the scene to make our show a success, without you we wouldn’t be enjoying.

Yet another addition of my TechED journey has ended. However, I am very excited looking at the Roadmap for Gateway and I know we will have great new offering for TechED 2014.

So see you all in TechED 2014.....
