Friday the 13th, the winter chill can be felt in Bangalore air. However, there was no fall in the enthusiasm of friends attending session and at pods on the 3rd day of TechEd Bangalore 2013. Like yesterday, our Pod was active early.
The day started with the 4 hours hands-on CD265 and with all the discussion on UI5 and Gateway around on the floor of TechEd Bangalore, the session had high interest. Today was a day of networking session and Q&A. The networking session discussion continued even after the session got over.
I appreciate people moving from Balu session to my session and continuing their discussion. The most hearting fact people waiting till 5:00PM to talk to me on Gateway roadmap and technology.
Today was also a day when we had discussions with partner and customer on how Gateway can help them solve their business use case and help them build better solutions. We have moved from the question “What is Gateway” to “What more can Gateway do”. Most people we talked had worked with Gateway and their questions was clearly indicative of their eagerness to hear more on new features in Gateway.
I am adding the link to the Gateway Self-Learning in this blog many wanted to know how to find it, especially the topics of Subscription and workflow. The other big draw for this year TechEd at Bangalore was the Augmented Reality pod. You can see the video shown at the pod here, Google glass also use OData 😉 . The Show floor was also having Gateway around, showcased by Fiori and SMP.
However, I would say the most active pod was the Clubhouse café and why not; coffee and technology goes well together.
The pods are now silent, its time for us to sign-off from this edition of TechEd Bangalore, until next time …
