SAP Co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe regularly invites employees to Open Dialogue sessions.  In these unique events, small groups of employees have the opportunity to discuss any topic with Jim. Everyone is entitled to join the sessions which are posted on the SAP corporate portal for everyone to see.

Not only employees highly value the very personal discussions – Jim also deeply appreciates the direct exchange with employees from all across SAP. From the open feedback, he gets a good understanding of what currently drives people and often he leaves the room with new ideas. The Open Dialogue perfectly reflects the SAP culture which encourages people to actively and openly contribute to the company strategy by raising their voices.

On the question what makes SAP unique, Jim answered: “It’s the people and the passion they have for what they do. Making things happen that seem to be impossible for others is one of our key factors for success.”
