  • Hi,

us are actually implementing WM 6.o according to the guide, but when we want to upload a file that is not sent to ERP. We should check?. We already checked the values of BDS (Business Document Service) / GOS (Generic Object Services), DMS (Document Management System) according to the guide.

    • If i understand your question correctly, you want to know the TCODE in SAP to check the attachment uploaded from the  Mobile device. It depends to  which object your attaching the document.  if it is Work Order Order then go to  IW32 ( click  on "Service for Objects" icon on left  and choose attachment list  to view your attachment.

  • SAP Note: 2048221: Quick start guide to install SAP Work Manager 6.0 with SMP 2.3 (Agentry)

    • This is a basic guide (for users to get started quickly - Power point version)
    • Good for SAP consultants who have not played with SMP 2.3 yet
    • It should at least get you transmitting with your Agentry Test Environment to the SAP Control Center (you may reference the main documentation on how to install it on your actual device)
    • It should give you hints to prevent you from having SAP Control Center issues
    • Assumption is that you already installed SMP 2.3 and can get the SAP Control Center working
    • Assumption is also that you know your SAP User/login/password (SAP System ID, Server name and others) - technically the same way you loging using your SAP GUI (or the properties of your SAP GUI)
    • You may use this guide (or follow this SAP note) if you are having troubles connecting your client (Agentry Test Environment) to the SMP 2.3 server
    • Additional demo/online training will be added later
    • This version of the tutorial is SMP 2.3 SP04 version (SP03 and earlier had bugs that were fixed in SP04)
    • Requires to have an SAP access to view the SAP note

Manju: You may add the SAP note to your reference document. I'll try to do something similar with SAP Work Manager 6.1 (platform side) if approve.

Newly added: In the SAP 2048221 - An online demo training is included (Link to QuickIQ - may require special SAP support contract type to access - about 15 minutes).

  • Manju,

My client has SAP PM and they are interested in SAP WM.

What are the SAP resources required to get this Work Manager in the client's SAP PM.

What is the timeline and what type of testing are required.

    • I would recommend you client get in touch with their SAP Account team to discuss adding Work Manager to their environment.  The account team can help with information, demos and pricing.
