All this year we’ve been hearing about Design Thinking (DT) and how this new innovative and creative approach can be used to solve a variety of problems. However, does it mean that all other “traditional” methodologies used during SAP implementations like ASAP, EAF etc are going away? Certainly not. DT, in fact, complements other project methodologies and tool kits.
The four documents below show how DT tools and techniques can be in applied conjunction with ASAP during different phases of a project like Project Scoping, Requirements Analysis, Business Process Design and IT Architecture design.
- Design Thinking for Project Scoping
- Design Thinking for Requirements Analysis
- Design Thinking for Business Process Design
- Design Thinking for IT Architecture Design
Have you used DT techniques for any specific phases of your projects? Please do share your experience using DT in different contexts.
