    Great post, Nancy.  The Custom Development team has come to the rescue quite a few times. Core solutions like SAP IS Retail do a great job of putting best practices in place, but when retailers have unique capabilities, special needs, Custom Development really helps.

    One scenario in particular comes to mind – the retailer has a differentiating business practice. In other words, they wish to do something to ensure the shopper in their stores has a great experience, unlike at a competing retailer.
