ABAP7.4 on HANA Battle!

At Flexso, we’ve been working with ABAP7.4 on HANA. One of our goals was to test the ABAP for HANA artifacts.

So for doing that, we’ve created a Z table with more than 7 million records which we access from a Floorplan Manager (FPM) application. We’ve created two FPM applications with the List UIBB component. However, in one FPM application, we’ve used the old version of the List UIBB and in the other the renewed HANA List UIBB.

In the video we first start the one with the old List UIBB component and afterwards the new version. Both FPM applications are working on the same HANA DB. Please check out the result ;-).

So besides using the HANA artifacts themselves, you should really also use the ABAP on HANA artifacts in order to get the most out of your system!
