I watched Matt Lloyd’s SAP TechEd session, and he said you could change the preferences so Lumira doesn’t always go to the “Visualization” tab after you open a dataset.

For me, I prefer that it go to the Prepare tab so I can analyze and filter the dataset before a I visualize it.

To do this, go to File > Preferences:

As shown above I change the default room to “Prepare”.

Also, because I am not using the Lumira Agent, I click off that box.

You have to restart Lumira for these changes to take effect.

Now, when I open the dataset it goes to the Prepare tab, and not visualization.

Thanks for that great feature tutorial! Simple and to the point!

We’ll be sure to mention this on an upcoming episode of LEXed.

I’ve changed my default room to “Prepare” as well. I find it’s a quicker load, and I usually cleanse my data before throwing together visualizations!
