Fun Facts about my Country:

INDIA.

There are so many facts for any country, the same way India also has so many facts but let me just jot down only those facts which stays fresh in my Mind.

·         Chess: Chaturanga in Sanskrit meaning “Four members of an army” was invented in India, Now this sport being played all over the world was invented in India.

·         India has the largest population of vegetarians in the world.

·         National Emblem: The Sarnath Lion depicts four lions back to back from which the national emblem stems. It symbolizes courage, confidence, and strength.

·         Snakes and Ladders: The game of Snakes and Ladders also originated in India, with the lesson being of virtue vs. vices.

·         Mathematics: Indians made noteworthy contributions to trigonometry, calculus, and algebra. In 100 B.C. the decimal system was invented here.

·         Yoga: One of the more known India facts is yoga. Originating in India, yoga is now a world-wide form of exercise and relaxation. Meditation and stretches are an integral part of yoga.

·         Ganges River Dolphin: Another little known fact about India is this species of dolphin, which includes 2 subspecies and is the only blind dolphin in the world. Both subspecies are in danger of extinction and as such are protected.

·         Over half of India’s population is below 25 years. By 2020, the average age of an Indian is expected to be 29 years. 🙂 (Probably the Youngest nation)

·         India’s working-age population will increase by 240 million over the next two decades, according to Deutsche Bank. India has the second-largest pool of scientists and engineers in the world.

·         Known as the Detroit of Asia, Chennai accounts for 35-40 per cent of India’s total automobile industry.

·         With 1, 55,618 post offices and over 5, 66,000 employees, India has the largest postal network in the world.

·         There were no plastic bags in India before 1985?

·         Shampoo is derived word from Hindi a typical Indian language.

·         The biggest ant in India is about an inch 🙂 🙂   🙂 .

It goes on and on and on :>

Fun Facts about my Hometown:

I was born at Tenkasi, tamilnadu, India. It lies in the southern part in our India map and almost very close to the southern tip of INDIA.

My Hometown has so many waterfalls and mountains, there are many places where you can feel like heaven. The climate here is best in any duration of the year. My town is one of the most visited hot spot for many tourists. 🙂

What do you Most Enjoy in SCN?

1) At early days of my career I almost felt lost whenever I was given an object or task, but SCN helped me in not only finding correct solution but also in learning many other facts.

2) Probably am spending more time in SCN rather than in any other social website.

3) Finding right solution and getting valuable information on any fields in SAP. I feel it’s one of the well-organized website.

Share a fun fact/story about yourself that people don’t know.

I have a serious crush towards new dress, probably one of the reason why I celebrate almost all festivals 🙂 🙂 🙂

What inspires you?

This is one of the best question that I would love to write more but let me try to squeeze my points. 🙂

I always have intent to learn new things each and every day. Every day before I go to bed I ask myself what new thing I have learned, if the answer is no immediately I take a dictionary and learn at least few new words which gives me a satisfaction and a peaceful sleep.

I have a habit of writing small meaningful thoughts in which I actually write it for myself and read it which inspires me a lot 🙂 I would love to mention few of my thoughts below,

*****************************************************************************************************************************************

WHAT’S NEXT?!

“Of all the questions life has asked me, one always remains constant and it is

What’s next?

This is what helps people in reaching Great heights” 🙂

**********************************************************************************************

ALPHABETS OF LIFE!

Both Success and failures are just alphabets,

But

Life is a Statement,

It’s about how clear you have understood the alphabets to frame a proper statement for yourself.” 🙂

******************************************************************************************************************************************

OPPURTUNITY!

Of course opportunity knocks the door only once,

It does not mean that we have to stay idle till that,

It means prepare a good door for which opportunity is tempted to knock again.

This is called smartness 🙂

*******************************************************************************************************************************************

QUESTIONS FROM LIFE!

Whenever life gives you a question,

Give back thousand answers so that let it pick up the best answer

But

Never answer in such a way that it can pick up another question from your answer. 🙂

********************************************************************************************************************************************

Think it is already too much 🙂

If you could be a superhero, who would you be?

I would love to be MUTANT 🙂 (inspired from the X-Men Series) having a talent of controlling things with my mind (Nearly Class 5 🙂 level).

What was your dream job as a kid?

I was very much interested in becoming a PILOT. 🙂

If you were 20 again, what would you study?

To be frank I never wanted to study at all. I always wanted to play and become a cricketer, having a partnership with sachin would have been my life time achievement. 🙂

Which 5 things do you absolutely want to achieve in life?

1)      To explore more parts of the world.

2)      To satisfy all the dreams of my mom and my love.

3)      To be a Radio Jockey in one of the famous radio station.

4)      To retire from the profession well before the age of 50.

5)      To always play till my last breath.

What is the best lesson your parents taught you?

Since I lost my father at very early stages of life, my mom has to put up a spirited effort to bring me up to a good position. She is my living example for hard-work, persistence, patience, humbleness and many.

No doubt she is my Role-Model forever. 🙂

What do you enjoy most in your work and why?

It drags me deep and entertain me much such that I never felt tired or bored. 🙂

What is your personal life dream?

To live a life which serves as an example for future youngsters. 🙂

If you were given by your work a full day every week to do whatever you feel like, what would it be?

Will just sleep and try to prepare any new dish. 🙂

What have you accomplished recently that you’re really proud of?

I aided for two students for their college fees by organizing and collecting money from my friends and other collegues and was able able to pay fees for one complete semester for both the students. 🙂 Will definitely do more like this in future with blessings off lord 🙂 🙂

What do you imagine or predict is the future of your topic? (Mobile, Cloud etc., be creative be daring, be entertaining)

A Mobile which can be controlled with eyes, just a look at any icon should navigate inside and function further. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Just imagine how simple our work will be in operating phone and how powerful our look can become. 🙂 🙂

Hope You Enjoyed My Post 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hi Sathu, and welcome to the #BIF family.  I love some of your thoughts – about reflecting on what you have learned during the day, and if nothing, grabbing a dictionary.  What a great habit!

    Also this:

To live a life which serves as an example for future youngsters

I feel a certain playfulness in you – and still a passion for your work and for learning – so I think you are definitely off on the right track.

    Cheers,
    Sue

    Great blog,

    Cheers,
