For providing structural authorization to an user, follow these steps:-

IMG Path:

Suppose there is user "USER1" which has all authorizations to view all objects of SAP.

Execute Report S_AHR_61016494

The output looks as follows, it consist of orgunit, position and holder of these positions.....

Now Lets try giving this user structural authorization so that this user is only allowed to view org units, so user will not be able to view position and holder.

GOTO "Maintain Structural Profiles" and create a Z profile

Now select Z authorization profile and click on "Authorization Profile" and maintain the authorization as follows:-

T

There are many other fields which could be used, pls check F1 help for each of field to get more clarification

Now go to "Assign Structural Authorization", this view contains a standard SAP delivered entry with user name SAP*,

<<NEVER DELETE THIS ENTRY>> this entry gives authorization to all users to access all objects of OM

When user execute any report, system checks user authorization in view T77UA, is user name is not found, the user is given all authorizations, if user name is found then authorizations are given accordingly.

Now lets run same report with same parameters, it shows only orgunits with user USER1

Hence, its clear now with same set of parameters, position and holders are not visible.

Do let me know if any clarification or help required.

Thanks,
