Reaching out to the students of UV College of Engineering, Bangalore 18-19 November 2013
UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College Of Engineering) is one of the oldest premiere engineering institute in the country founded by none other than – Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. It was established in 1917 under the name Government Engineering College.
SAP University Alliances along with SAP Labs HR took part in their 2 day Techno-Management festival Inspiron 2013 on 18 and 19 November 2013. More than 1000 students from across Bangalore took part in this event. SAP was the title sponsor for this event run by students. SAP University Alliances team engaged with the students to impart them with the knowledge of “new SAP” and the different technologies that are supported by SAP such as in Database, Analytics, Mobility, Cloud, Applications. These students got to see different demo apps on iPads that are made by SAP for its customers.
It was heartening to see the students eager to take part in the impromptu quiz at the UA booth so that they could win SAP goodies. They kept asking for more questions but unfortunately the team ran out of both goodies and questions.
Mr Lakshmiprasad KK, Vice President, Solution Experience, SAP Labs Bangalore, was present at the event to deliver a keynote to the students of UVCE. He infact is an alumni of UVCE and shared he memories of studying in the college and being taught by the principal Dr Venugopal.

UVCE is awesome ... I finished my studies 2 years ago and I am very grateful to this institution, for the knowledge that helped me to get a good job. During my studies, I did a lot of research and wrote several research papers that were useful to me in my first job.
