How Disruptive Mobile Technologies Drive Business Innovation

If there is any area of the software market that experiences the most disruptions it must be mobile. Over the past weeks of SAP TechEd events I have spoken with many customers and partners about their adoption of existing mobile technologies and how they plan to approach new innovations while maintaining their current solutions and systems.

Because there are constant changes in the mobile market, companies are required to be agile and adopt the latest technologies in order to drive business innovation. Furthermore, the IT organization is required to maintain legacy systems and infrastructure and integrate these with not only mobile solutions but also with other emerging and popular technologies such as Big Data and Cloud.

At SAP TechEd Amsterdam  we held an SAP TechEd LIVE interview Innovation without Disruption: Balancing Existing Investments with Emerging Mobile Technologies to answer the question ‘how can disruptive mobile technologies drive business innovation’. Watch the replay below.

In addition to this interview, Brent Cohler posted a recent blog titled Beyond The Hype: Business Results With Augmented Reality, Wearables, And More and includes his own interview with SAP mobile experts about innovation yet disruptive mobile technologies. His team is holding a webinar session on Wednesday November 20, 2013 through the SAP Mobile Insights program to discuss mobile innovations, quantify the business potential around them, and demonstrate advances that leading brands are already making today.
