69th Annual Instrumentation Symposium For The Process Industry – Texas A&M – Jan 21-23, 2014
The Instrumentation Symposium for the Process Industries, now in its 69th year, continues to educate professionals and students in the instrumentation industry. At the symposium, practical technical papers as well as vendor exhibits are presented with a focus on education. Over the years, the Symposium has grown in both stature and attendance, with over 400 attendees at the 2013 Symposium.
The symposium features a full three-day program of technical papers and workshops with topics including: Security and Standards, Management Systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, Technology, and Instrument Reliability.
This year one of the key note speakers is from the Chemical Industry. Greg Morales is the Site Reliability Director for Dow Texas Operations, the largest integrated petrochemical complex in the world. In this role, Mr. Morales helps the site to produce and deliver products, services and solutions safety and reliably in order to flawlessly meet customer needs and goals each and every time.
As a past attendee and presenter I can really say that this is a conference not to be missed. For those of you who are interested in what your peers are doing or planning to do regarding Security and Standards, Management Systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, Technology, and Instrument Reliability, this conference offers a great learning opportunity.
