Can´t start application

Hi,

I ‘m trying to start an application but it doesn´t work. I have done it using Eclipse and using the cockpit. When I click on start button I get this:

I have tried it several times and I have been waiting for hours, but it is always in the same state. I have deleted de application and published again, but the problem carries on.

Thanks in advance.

      Hi Javier,

Here are a few things to check and consider:

      1) Based on your description it sounds like the process is just hanging or not completing. This could be caused by several things including connectivity, bottlenecks or incomplete deployment.

      2) Next time try stopping everything, deleting the entry in the Cockpit entirely and re-publishing the application to the Cloud. Then, try starting it again from the Cockpit.

      3) Next time you start the application, see if you can click on the "Name" entry and monitor the detailed starting logs fields and URL field while it is starting. This screen will also show you startup status changing to a yellow triangle and then a green arrow indicating the application is started

NOTE: Typically if there is a problem during application start you will get a pop-up message in the Cockpit and the Eclipse front end will also report errors. This confirms that connectivity between both is also working correctly.

      I hope these tips help.

      Best Regards,

      Valery
