The Principles of Design Thinking
Today at #SAPTechEd, we talked with Janaki Kumar and Michael Kögel from the SAP Design and Co-Innovation Center. They are working with companies around the world to help them innovate using the Design Thinking methodology.
But what is Design Thinking? And how can companies leverage it to better Innovate and build products or applications that will delight their consumers?
By the way, did you know that SAP is extensively using it to build its own applications? For example, SAP Fiori was built from the ground up using Design Thinking.
In this first video, Janaki explains the core principles of Design Thinking, namely: Creativity, Teams, Empathy and Iteration.
In the second video below, Michael walks us through the Design Thinking process and how companies can leverage it.
