Wow, time flies! Is the TechEd in Amsterdam over? I just got used to a flurry of activities happening there with loud echoes in our mailboxes in a form of customer introductions, photographs, accounts of lectures, hands-on sessions, informal meetings, interviews, roundtables… Here is the evidence: day one and day two blogs! But then there was a picture from the concert…and then this image of an empty showfloor…
and it means that yes, the show is really over, though it will take a long time to follow up with all the customers and partners who wanted to connect and had further questions, to process the feedback we received from you, our customers!
I want to quote our teammate Thomas Meigen, NetWeaver Gateway Area Product Manager, who summarizes his first-hand experience this year:
“This TechEd was much more vibrant than the last one that I attended. SAP technology has become exciting again. UI5, Fiori and Gateway are (besides HANA) the hottest topics, often in that very combination. People realize that we are introducing a new development paradigm and that timelessness and firelanes are not buzzwords any longer but a helpful reality now. “Gateway” and “OData” have become common knowledge in the SAP community.”
Customers shared the excitement, we have a number of customer testimonials that we will be sharing with you over the following weeks.
Here is one for you,
from Nespresso who has developed multichannel customer experience using SAP technologies including SAP NetWeaver Gateway:
Before we part I just want to say big Thank You to our team members who worked tirelessly at the show and still had energy to respond to our work emails (don’t know how they managed that!) and to have fun after hours!
