24 Faculties from 6 UA schools attended the Intro to SAP ERP using Global Bike Inc V2.1 at the premises of our UA member school at Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology-Hyderabad from 18th-21st September. The workshop was delivered by Satya Rajendra Singh from Narayana Engineering College, nellore-AP, Delhi. An Intro to SAP ERP goes a long way in building a strong foundation for SAP Courses. After attending this workshop the participants have received a comprehensive understanding of the course and how it can be offered to the students.

The SAP University Alliances Program has sponsored an initiative for the development of curriculum materials by experienced university academics. It is a major, global undertaking with the aim of developing a library of downloadable courses for member universities. The project to date has developed courses in Accounting, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Business Intelligence, Net Weaver as well as an introduction to business process. The trainers for this program have attended previous workshops organized by SAP and has delivered the SAP program in their classes in their respective institute.

This workshop was only meant for Professors and Lecturers from University Alliances member institutions only.

Course Goals:

ü Describe how basic business processes are represented and integrated within SAP ERP

ü Determine how this knowledge can be best incorporated into University curriculum

ü Become familiar with resources that can facilitate the incorporation of SAP solutions into curriculum
