Just a friendly reminder to join SCN and SAP Mentors on November 18th for a special blog it forward celebration.  How great is it during the SCN is 10 celebration that we also celebrate the “blog it forward”.  Blog it forward is a chance to meet your fellow SCN members and get to know a little more about them.  If you haven’t written a blog-it-forward yet, there is still time – see Blog It Forward Community Challenge and Blog It Forward (BIF) Chain

Susan Keohan and Moshe Naveh have already written about the celebration Blog it Forward (#BIF) – It’s Magic! and Special Virtual Anniversary BIF Party

Think of it as a virtual “dance-a-long” – how appropriate this video Tilda Swinton dance-along is to Barry White music:

For me I have learned so much about people, countries, great food and people with some incredible stories.  There has been a tae kwon do gold medalist, super hero quizzes (which super hero are you?) and so much more.  I enjoyed Blog It Forward – Jyoti Prakash by Jyoti Prakash as I learned I was “Superman” super hero, and not my true favorite super hero, Batman.

It is also special that I read Blog it Forward – Custodio de Oliveira by Custodio de Oliveira as he found me last week and I got to meet him in person.  The same for the great Jocelyn Dart Blog It Forward – Jocelyn Dart

So you have a date on November 18th – 4:00 pm Eastern – dial in/logon information is here SAP Mentor Monday Dial-in info

Don’t forget, there is still time to “blog-it-forward”.

For those who missed yesterday’s blog-it-forward celebration, here is the recording:

Can’t wait for this celebration.  Tammy, how clever to find the very song I chose for my first trip to MasteringSAP Technologies in Australia.  Brings back very happy memories for me, and I know th #BIF Party will do the same!

It’s kind of an SCN theme song ‘You’re my first, my last, my everything’ as far as all things SAP go.

  2. Custodio de Oliveira

    Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the mention. My TechEd experience wouldn’t be complete if I had not meet you 🙂

I’ll do my best to attend the MM on November 18th.

Shucks! I’m sure that’s the other way around – meeting the great Tammy Powlas #IRL at last was brief but memorable!  [Hope you get to use that icecream recipe some time as I shall now be thinking of you always as fresh and minty 😉  ] And I add my encouragement to anyone contemplating the #BIF chain – a wonderful initiative by Moshe Naveh

    November 18th – 4:00 pm Eastern

that means 2.30 AM (Tuesday) in India. It would be really a challenging celebration for those who will be joining from India

but i will join the PARTY.

Just checking… by Eastern you mean e.g. USA Los Angeles time yes?  I need it in timezone or at least by city for   If it’s LA then I’m good to go I think

Dang it! Saw this too late. Dialed in at what I’d calculated and no-one was there… 🙁

Hope it was a great party! Was it recorded?

And for next time.. I’m just a poor spatially challenged woman – I struggle with left and right folks – North South East and West is a no-hoper..

        Thanks anyway!
