Approving Files in Download Basket

Approving a support package in the download basket

As a prerequisite for approving the support packages in the download basket the Maintenance Optimizer scenario should be configured and the user should have the access to Change Management work center. Access to change management workcenter could be achieved by assigning roles SAP_SMWORK_CHANGE_MAN, SAP_SMWORK_BASIC and SAP_SMWORK_CHANGE_MAN_SPC2

As the first step in approving files in download basket navigate to transaction solman_workcenter in solution manager,

Now navigate to change management work center

In change Management work center select New Maintenance Transaction,

In the next screen select the appropriate solution and the appropriate system and click on continue,

In the next screen select “Select Files Manually” and click continue,

In the next screen click on continue without selecting anything,

In the next screen select “Confirm Files In Download Basket”,

It will open a new screen with the files in the download basket of the mapped S-User,

Select the files to be approved and give “OK”

  The mapped S-User id could be found from the top of the screen,
