The Role of Inbound Customer Care

SAP’s Inbound interactions can relate to a wide range of subjects. We get students looking for help with their assignments, professionals seeking employment, business leaders needing specific solutions, and strangely enough we even get some people looking for information on the Substance Abuse Program (because it’s abbreviated as SAP). 

We have a dedicated group of resources to handle customer care related matters within our inbound team. You can connect with this group by calling our general toll free line at 1-800-872-1727 and select option 4 for “customer care and other” matters. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a message and we’ll respond to you as soon as we can. This same group can be reached over email at, or via chat when you select one of these two options: “service and/or technical support” or “other”.

So what can the Customer Care team really help with? Well, for starters, we can assist with any legitimate inquiry that relates to SAP at large:

1) Expedited Alignment of Resources: Whether you’re hoping to speak with a Maintenance Renewal Account Representative, or looking for specific SAP Event Management teams, we can point you in the right direction.

2) Clarification on Products and Support offerings: With several hundred products included in the SAP Portfolio through years of acquisitions and innovations, it certainly helps to get some clarity on what exactly we can offer. Some product groups can have unique support channels while some products may have reached end-of-life (out of support). Contact us for any clarifications.

3) Resolutions to Complicated Situations: If you come across any challenging scenarios that need some consultation with a knowledgeable agent, feel free to call or drop a line. We’re always here to help.
